Three candles as if suspended in the air
The creative idea is to suspend three candles and thus obtain a feeling of floating in the air.
The shape of the chandelier is inspired by the masts of old sailboats. It takes its name from the late 18th century explorer “Jean François de la Pérouse” who aboard 2 sailboats La Boussole and L’Astrolabe was exploring the Pacific Ocean at the instigation of King Louis XVI of France. .
The candlestick is made entirely of brass turning. A total of 5 kg of brass are shaped by hand. A brass circle supports the 3 bobèches. It is held in balance by 3 suede calfskin straps. These straps are reinforced with a brass flat which ensures better rigidity .
